I bought one last half-bushel of peaches for 8 dollars. This one was used more wisely than the one I used for canning. Leftover peach crisp and ice cream for breakfast. Mm.

I bought up some of the last peaches of the season from the farmers market this weekend, and used them up in a trifle for guests. Now I wished I'd baked them warm...

I used most of the box to puree into peach syrup, but I'd be darned if I let TWO boxes of peaches pass through my hands without at least ONE warm dessert. Now, I wish I'd made a trifle, too. That sounds scrumptious.
