The only bad thing I can think of about fall is that it means winter is almost here. Things I love about fall:

Fall sunlight(Much different than summer sun!!)
Fall wind
Fall smells (leaves, and crisp coldness and damp dirt)
no more misquitos
fresh apples
winter squash
no more making pickles
fields of goldenrod
honeybees swarming over my blooming broccoli
warm and cool like a sweet and sour sauce, or a lemon meringue pie
a little bit of woodsmoke in the air (I've always liked a bit of woodsmoke)
beautiful and terrible frost (looks great while it lasts, but leaves behind quite a mess)

And many other things, which I've run out of words for describing.

With this grudging admission of one nice thing fall brings, you'll be calling it Autumn before long!

Titi,
That California girl makes a sound case against fall, given her love of sun and warmth. As much as I love her, though, I'm with you and fall.
