Bonus Blog
The other wedding we attended was that of some friends from church. About a week before the wedding, I was asked to take some pictures during the wedding as they had no photographer. Er. I filled the entire memory card. Here's the blog that contains some of that snapshotting. For those who don't feel like clicking the link to see dozens, here's a single dozen for you.

mmmmmmm.....
strawberries.
Susannah's unconditional ability to be the happy beyond measure in a strangers arm has always melted my heart, but mostly when I'm the stranger. What did I ever do to make her so happy?! I never know, but she sure seems to like it in my arms.
I can't be that special, though, because it seems she does that for everyone.
I enjoyed looking through the other blog too and must say, you did a FINE job as a wedding photographer!
Did you discover, as I did, how much more difficult it is when you really WANT to do a good job??? :-)
Titi,
She doesn't do it for ME!!!
Rebecca,
Thanks. I had extremely low expectations. I am so ignorant about photography in general and wedding photography in particular that I was doubtful that I'd take more than a handful of usable shots. I was glad, though, that they had NO expectations, and that I was one of their only options. That made it much easier, if you know what I mean!
It did make me want to learn more about photography, though. Maybe if I'm twiddling my thumbs this winter, I can use some time to learn some photography guidelines.
Abigail,
You did a LOVELY job on the wedding pictures! I love them all, but really enjoyed the one of the kids decorating the car...and all the ones that include your dear ones. :)
