Is this the part where we start making up outrageous things that might have happened to her, and see if she comes back to deny any of them? You know, the kind of outrageous things kids think of when their parents are 1/2 an hour later than they's said they'd be. . .

Maybe they got run over by a cement mixer.

Maybe they're having ice cream without us.

Maybe they moved to California and never told anyone.

Maybe their appendixes are bursting, and they're under going emergency surgery.

Maybe they don't like us any more and are never coming home.

Maybe they're stuck behind a really, really long train.

Anyone else have any guesses?

they have joined the circus, and will spend the rest of their days as gypsies.
