Red As Red Can Be

One day shy of Piper's three-week mark, we went to the Strawberry Festival, partly for the parade but mostly for the hope of candy thrown at our heads. We weren't disappointed.

Two little girls watch the parade begin.


I knelt by the third little girl and shared her stellar view of band legs.



And here is that same little girl sitting on the courthouse steps waiting for Papa and the older two to finish exploring the Festival. (I offer no pictures of the fourth little girl because she was busily nursing while I snapped these shots. Double-tasking...)



She was captivated by another family that sat just above us.




And she was so tired that she lay her body down to take a nap.
