While they did this, I took pictures of curly things.

Grapevine dwarfs a tiny speck of moon.

And a ring of garlic planted in Mom's flower garden, going to seed and descended from these. Who knew garlic was so curly?

Thanks! The garlic bulb is beneath the ground, but these plants that are going to seed surprised me. Before the tops pop open, their shape is reminiscent of a garlic bulb too!
I thought it was very cool.

Glad you do! And I think I just bought a record player from your family with my mom as a go-between. You'll have to come see it in our digs sometime. :)
