The Ugly Angel Food Cake That I Could Not Stop Eating

Along with the carrot cake, I served an ugly angel food cake for Easter.  Never judge a cake by its appearance.  Filled with basic cream filling (with the sugar reduced) and mixed-berry sauce and topped with more berry sauce folded into mounds of sweet whipped cream, this was one that kept calling me back...and back and back.
