Sleepovers R Us
Sunday morning before church. "Eeeeeew!"
Big girls the following morning:
While the other children went for a walk in the Big Woods, these girls worked very hard at keeping the peace.
You won't know unless I tell you, but Ineke and Cadence beautified themselves with no help at all.
Don't worry. They used the screen to make romantic and highly dramatic movies...and to take pictures of the person taking pictures.
Ineke helped Skylark look her best.
These two! It used to be these two. How time flies.

Whenever I stumble upon a picture of our big girls back when they were throwing their fat little arms around each other years' ago, I get a bit overcome with the goodness of God to not only bring them together those years ago- but to keep them together many years later- through moves to northern NY and southern PA and back again.
Yes, I think that last picture will be one I will find myself looking back on years from now- with tremendous gratitude for a lifelong friendship- with a whole new set of girlies.
They were probably incredibly lacking in sleep at this point, but those two sets of sparklingly happy eyes are proof that summertime sleepovers are good, good things! Thanks for inviting more raucous into your home- these moments are in the highlight reel for the Newman girls.
I feel the same! What a gift to see these girlies grown and growing, still so close.
And it is our true pleasure, ALWAYS, to enjoy the company of you all, whenever we can!
