Little ones like doing this--inspecting and collecting things that adults walk over. I'm guessing it has something to do with their enterprising and highly distractible nature.

Anyhow, what a sweet picture!

I think you're right. I think, too, that they haven't yet lost wonder for the smaller parts of creation-- the things that we begin to pass over as we grow older. I think it's neat that Millie has helped me regain some of that wonder for the "common" things, which are just as glorious a part of God's creation as the eye-catchers.
