So, Mildred Elise is now four years old; Baby Bumpkin has become Big Girl Bumpkin. She received an inkpad and alphabet stamps for her birthday but quickly discovered that the inkpad is most useful for making handprints on Aunt Becky's white door.

and by that, i'm thinking how glad i am for you that she's just four, and annika two. and that they are so close to my two in age, even i not in truth.

Millie and Annie are 17 and 1/2 months apart, perfect for playmates. I am glad that your two, too, are close in age and friendship.
