Mister Bluebird's on My Shoulder

And everything is satisfactual.
After a week of obstinacy, our computer has spontaneously healed itself. I suppose we all need a rest now and then, and the rest was nice for all of us.

We had a lovely anniversary the Friday before last, we went to the world's largest book sale on Sunday, where I serendipitously found two books from my childhood for which I've been searching for over a decade now (a little-known 1 + a well-known 2 = hurrah!), we spur-of-the-moment drove to Long Island this past weekend to see our much-loved Owen family, and, today, we sit as a chill rain soaks into the grey and gold around us.

I have little to say, but I'll give you some snapshots until such time as I'm bubbling over with the gripping details of my day (i.e. how many dirty dishes wait for me in the kitchen).

Also, belly's up. Here are fresh recipes.

Just wanted to comment and tell you that I've been spying on your beautiful family's life. I love your pictures and your writing. It's been nice electronically catching up with you!

Jule Ann...
How fun! I'm glad you've resolved to delurk. See, everytime I'm about to quit this blog beast for good, something happens to make me change my mind. Hurrah for electronic catch-ups! I will enjoy reading your updates now, too, and if you and Jeremy are ever in the Binghamton area (which can't be all that far from PA), let us know so that you can stop in to fill your bellies and catch up in person.

So, Abby. This blog is proving to be quite useful!

As far as times on Wednesday night: Elizabeth can't come until 6:30 but she can drop me off at 5:30. So-6:30 would be a good time for us to come or I could come an hour earlier for some one-on-one, which might be good for such letter conversations. If you would prefer it later or earlier-like I said, it up to you but that is what Elizabeth prefers. I wonder if Leah will be able to come, she is in labor today from the sounds of Scotts blog!!!! (Which I am sure you already knew...but I was excited! Maybe she WILL brave the journey...I can't wait to see what gender it is!)

Sorry to use your blog as a gushing soundboard...

Well, if Leah's recovered from that 36-hour labor, I'll toss confetti when she walks in the door with Isaiah!

Come as early as you can or would like; just warn me if it will be in dark, early morning hours. I'll plan on 6:30 for the other girls, then? Do you all want supper or just munchies?

Sorry to use my blog as a phone call...
:) (for good measure)

No no no-no supper involved. Sheesh! I already feel as though a big burden has been put on you...namely me-and I am BIG! ;-) OKay-We will do the 5:30 bit and I will tell the other ladies it will be 6:30.

I am super duper excited!
