While it Lasted
Several times this summer we spent 8-10 hour days weeding the lower garden, on which I'd put no mulch because it cost more than I was willing to pay. After one of those sessions, deliriously happy at the sight of brown earth appearing out of the sea of green, I took these pictures.
I'm sure you'd all like to see the present state of the lower garden...
There ya go.
Oh, yeah. You should know that most of the green you see are Very Large Weeds. They're practically snuffing out the blight-dying tomato plants (you know, those gorgeous brown patches).
