The Pickle Princess

Lucinda received one of the biggest delights of her summertime when a package arrived addressed to HER.  Purportedly from the Pickle Queen (a.k.a. Aunt Sarah J.), it contained two bags of seasoning and personalized instructions.  I provided the pickles (the very last from our garden), and with singleness of purpose, she set to work.

The result was two jars of delicious pickles in our refrigerator, one dilly and one spicy, which she was kind enough to share with the rest of us.
