That is BEAUTIFUL! I have seen them around...is it a rhododendrun? While I am stuck inside unpacking, organzing, cleaning, and making our home, I dream about the outside and envision our yard in the future. Splashes of color like THIS are a must. And how beautiful would it be for the vibrant pink of this bush to marry with the pale lavender of a lilac!?

I don't know what kind of flowering tree this is. It has small, pink rounded blossoms and gnarled little branches. Ignorance unveiled.
(The plot of land we plan to build on has 2 ancient, spreading lilacs on it-- on lavender, one white. My favorite.)
