This appears to be Hickories but I can't figure out how you GOT there by shortcut. IS it Hickories? If it is-how far a walk IS it?

You posted about our wagon which we received as a gift from a very generous Aunt. And seriously-I couldn't do it without it. Because it doesn't take long for Corynn to complain about being 'tired' and needing to be held.

Perhaps it is just because you and the girls walk everywhere-and HAVE done so for so long??? Let me in on your secret...

No, Hickories would be a few day's journey by foot! This is just the small, hidden town park in Campville. It's a five-minute walk, and we've only been there a few times. Pathetic. We've kind of given up on the walking adventures since our move due to canning and overall busy-busy and lazy-lazy by turns.

(When we walked everywhere in Depew, sometimes, if I hadn't wanted to bring the stroller, I'd end up carrying Annie and Susannah. Poor Millie just learned to tough it out, so she grew endurance by necessity. Annie's a wuss.)
