I usually have a square bar of soap (handmade by my cousin) in this bathroom sugar bowl. I just found that storebought oval ones don't fit, no matter how hard I jam them in. Leah, I need to buy some more good soap from you! And if you have extra, everyone who reads this blog should buy some, too...

I'm already interested, and I don't even know what kind of soap it is. I have a problem with a lot of soap being too harsh for me, and it dries out my skin to the point of being tight and itchy. My aunt sent down some glycerin based soap from a local (to her) soap maker, and it was great while it lasted, but alas, is gone. Tell me more!

When they had goats, it was goat's milk soap, I think. I'm not sure if it's glycerin-based or not, but it is wonderful. I'll ask her about it next time I'm in Nanticoke and get back to you.
