I can't believe how many blog posts I have missed! They keep going and going and going!

One of my favorite treats was sneaking spoonfuls of brown sugar and sucking the molasses moisture out of it. Another fond memory: I would take a half cup measuring cup and put almost equal parts cinnamon and sugar in it- mixing it around slowly watching it all meld together so beautifully and then eating it while hiding behind couch cushions.

(Maybe I have done these things more recently than childhood.)

I was never so out in the open about it all as Cadence is. She's an honest girl anyway.

Ha! Now THAT, is a gem of a story. My brother Luke used to hide in the bathroom with the sugar bowl and a spoon. He'll never live it down!

And she's not honest at all! One of the bigger girls brought her to me upstairs. She'd been hiding in a corner. :)
