Late
After I finished the cake, I finished this for my mom. I used the black and white doodle on the invitations for her party, but just now got around to painting the quilt. I'm getting tired of faceless people. I like drawing grumpy people, grinning people, and long, hooked noses. These people don't have any noses.

I don't know... I kind of like the faceless people. It lets you put whatever expression you want to at the time on their face.

I know you were speaking in jest, but for shame, laundry lady! You know better than to see a blog as an accurate representation of the whole of this beautiful, flawed life.
There are a zillion things that I'd like to do and can't, there are some things I can do and never get around to because of laziness, and there are far too many things I should do that I don't.
Hang Martha Stewart, cakes, and all. What I'd like to build are the inner pieces-- patience, love, strength. (And Martha probably needs to, as well...)

I love when I am one of the first to comment, and dislike when I am one of the last for two reasons..
1. Usually other's have said so eloquently what I wanted to say.
2. I'm afraid you might not read what I've written because it is so late :(
In any case, I just want to tell you how beautiful your cake and invitation you made are. You really are an artist! Someday you should take the plunge and try to start-up some home based business selling your artwork, it is so unique, that is what makes it so special!!! :)
