This is especially for Mags.
Recall our brief phone conversation and observe.
ABNORMAL CRAFT DAY: The girls used hot glue guns, with supervision, to make lots of animals. Annika: Ouch! Hot! Hot! Hot! Mildred: silently proficient. They churned out a million.
NORMAL CRAFT DAY:
Here's The Great and Glorious Pile of Mess that I lay before them to enjoy as they see fit.

Did they really make those creatures on their own?
Not only am I impressed with their hot-gluing...but on their creativity in general. Corynn is nowhere near that point. They are amazing!
My mom-in-law gave the girls a book that had most of these creatures in it, so we only made up a few on our own (e.g. Muddy Pig and Aliens). Millie just needed coaching as to what pom-poms to stick on next, but Annie was mostly hand-over-hand crafting.
Don't be impressed.
We're not creative.
Thanks for the pictures. It doesn't look like what you described at all - it's not disorganized at all.
I'm impressed - arts for the gifted.
I wasn't very clear.
This is the Big Pile of Mess newly set out...before the the girls make the BIG PILE of MESS.
(It's a fine distinction, I know...)
