The Party

Hurrah! We invited the next-door cousins, though they're not in the picture.





She discovered that knowing how to trumpet like an elephant doesn't guarantee knowing how to blow out candles successfully.



We gave her a bug net, an umbrella, a lollipop, and some book sale books, but I post no pictures.

All the present opening pictures are horrible, but here's one of her opening doll clothes from Grandma and Grandma Owen. Pictures not taken include all the girls sleeping with and bringing to breakfast their new animal blankets from Aunt Sarah, Annika asking to wear her hand-knit sweater from Grandma Johnson to bed, to breakfast, and out to the midwife appointment today (paired with her new birthday dress from the same); and the girls playing with their dolls.
