I suppose princesses have always had a thing for toads.
She believed he liked it on her shoulder, and she carted him around that way for a while until I convinced her he was about to die of a heart attack. This was also the reason I gave for the impropriety of him taking up residence in her bedroom. (In a jar, of course, but still...)
Toads have weak hearts, you know.

we have pollywogs quickly turning to some sort of amphipian. We would be happy to share if princesses need MORE.
