Here Comes the Sun
One morning, I stood in a swathe of tiger lilies and watched them open. One can literally watch them unfold as the sun's rays hit.

I'm usually too busy defending myself against the sun's hits to do any watching of any ferocious flowers.
You are a wallflower. They stay indoors, mostly.
