Bosom Buddies

We've had several spells of sub-zero temperatures this winter, with the wind chill dropping into the negative thirties, so this lucky dog has become accustomed to spending some of his nights indoors.  Ezekiel sticks to him like a little burr and habitually brings him offerings of friendship, which come in the form of bites of his bagel; small, plastic toys to bat around; and, in this case, a piece of paper and a crayon with which to write declarations of friendship.
