Five Brides Plus a Bonus

Susie's always been enamoured with high romance, so when I cleaned out my closet, she was predictably drawn to my wedding gown and veil.

I offered to let her try it on, and a few minutes later, we had the wedding march tromping through the upstairs hallway.

She got her turn and wanted me to take a picture.  (Shocking.)

And then Millie came upstairs and (gasp!) asked that I take her picture wearing it.
"In the light," she said, "like last time."

So I did.

Annika soon came tumbling after.

followed by Pip

and Lu.

Your bonus is Monkey See, Monkey Do

and one Mama, thirteen plus years away from that good October day that sealed me to John Richard Owen.

I was feeling all heart-throbby looking at each girl in turn and seeing flashes of a decade or two from now. And then Ezekiel's grinning, veil-bedecked head came into view and I felt better. :)

That first picture of Zeke made me laugh out loud. :)

I am in awe of how grown up each of your girls are and so beautiful! Of course, Zeke is always the handsome little man - even in his Mama's veil! He sure makes me laugh. The laughter and love that surrounds your home is priceless!

Much love!

Deb,
That's what he's there for.

Leah,
The best part? It was completely un-posed. I don't know what he was doing, but he clearly knew just how fancy he was.

Molly,
Grown up? Naw! :)

Oh my. They are stunning.
Love & love & love.

(And I think I'm commenting too much - I've had multiple tests to prove I'm not a robot. Hm. Must be my super-human fast typing skills.)

Oh my goodness. That one picture of Susannah.

Boy, did those moments make your heart skip a beat or take away your breath? Because the pictures did that to me. And they aren't even my girls!

I equally love the one of the real bride. Mysterious and airy and fleeting.

Rebecca,
Nope. The moments didn't because outside each frame were girls clamoring for their turn, which distracted me entirely from sappy thoughts. But looking at those pictures of Millie now in this morning's silence....WHAM!
