Oh, Master, We are Seven
I took these pictures of Annie as she sat on the back step, talking to me about the big bug she was watching. I tried to delete some, I really did, but my motherly bias froze the ruthless part of me when I tried to cull even one. Here they are. (Have mercy.)
This is right before she noticed the bug.
Then she noticed it.
And she watched it
And talked about it
And then smiled.
The End.

I love it!!!!!!
i love that story, and all the photos involved.
such a cutie.
Oh Abigail, every time I visit here, I sign off with a heart-wrenching desire to have my own three, beautiful girls...thanks for stoking the child-fire within me :)
Rebecca,
You're most welcome! Now I know that the fluff and nonsense of shotsnaps serves a nobler purpose than I knew. :)
Thank goodness for the sensibility of your mother. This story would have been missed something great had ANY of these pictures been taken out.
And thank goodness, too, for the OTHER Rebecca's comment. Now you have an even higher calling than you imagined. Therefore, never EVER think on the idea of 'shutting down' this blog. I get what she is saying because I HAVE two children, and visiting the virtual (and REAL) you makes me want many more.
ditto on the loving it!
annika is so expressive!
I absolutely love this series of shots (but then so does everyone else too!) :)
Everyone loves this series because it features such a lovable urchin. She's irresistable.
