Great and Small
Living in the country has reams of benefits, one of which is abundant wildlife every time I look out of the window.
1. The Baltimore oriole that trills daily in the cherry tree, a welcome sizzle in the cool green.
A nice balance for that sizzle.
The spider in the carport, who doggedly builds a new web each time my head accidentally tears the previous one down.
Annie took this picture. I quite like it.
And the Abominable Elephant-Ear-quatch, who is convinced that her natural trappings hide her from my sharp hunter's eye.
