Guest Shots! Caleb!
Caleb took these pictures of squash that all the children carved while we visited. Millie and Annie hacked into delicately dug holes and slashes in theirs, but the Purdy artists created some fun ones! I thought it was a brilliant way to transform excess squash.

We do playing with food better than 'properly eating one's food in a civilized manner." We also get more practice with the former. And most don't see much use for the latter. But know you know why it's okay to grow too much squash. . .
Has anyone in the history of squash growing ever grown "just enough squash?" Seriously, I'd like to know, because I always have to beg people to take some off my hands.
