Canning Season

It's almost over. I now have nearly 200 quarts of tomato sauce, dill pickles, peaches, salsa, jams, applesauce, spaghetti sauce, etc., etc. This makes me happy.


The girls are also happy about this fact, but they were more pleased with these playthings.

Using her broom, Annie created a variant of the ring toss.




Susannah created her own variant of the same.




And Mildred's net bulged with her mighty catch of the day.
