Knitting a Tale

On the way to church, Millie knits and listens to Redwall cassette tapes* on her tape player. After stealing her Papa's headphones, of course...

*From Sally?  I bet they were from Sally, and Millie's listened to them so many times she recites passages by heart.  Thanks, Sally!

Millie says, "I still love and listen to them both just about every week!"

I say, "It's true, and sometimes it drives me batty." :)

Also, we're about to mail 4 of your Adventures in Odyssey sets to Andy and Wendy. We had originally split them in half, but they've been listening to theirs nonstop in the Alaskan bush and could use some fresh stories! Thank you for your gift. I think it's been a welcome diversion for them through the long winter.

oh lovely:) I am glad to hear they are circulating among the Owen and Johnson clans! Certainly anything to help brave an Alaskan winter seems helpful.

I hope the other don't drive you too batty. But then again a little crazy is what makes life interesting...

Tell the girls I say hi, too:)

They drive me the good kind of batty, the one in which I chuckle at her from the other room when I hear her guffaw at Basil Staghare and imitate his accent.

They all say hullo back! (Adoring fans, all.)
