I'm normally a fairly private person when it comes to matters of the heart (my Heart) and don't share here most of his words and actions that sustain me, but...
John sent me this as a wake-up comic this morning with the attached message:
"To-do list: Scrub off goat scent. Plant garden. Read Pickles. Cross off all items on to-do list."
Yep. That sounds about right. Today's going to be a cinch!

I just bought FORTY of those trees on Etsy with the 3200 dollars I saw lying around, and now I have no place to keep them.
That map is great! I was going to make a garland (hadn't thought of doing a map one, though) for the sunroom when we first moved in. As my Grandma Manwaring used to tell my mom, though, "Was Going To never did nothin'."
Wise words. They apply to me more often than they should. :)
p.s. Regarding being a "terrible commenter":
No one who EVER comments on this blog is a terrible commenter. I like to pretend there are hundreds of people reading who never comment because imagining such makes the effort of blogging worth it. When one person (such as yourself) comments, I take it as confirmation of that delusion.

I am mean, and you should see all the stuff I get off etsy with the $32000 I have just laying around!Etsy is a place that always gets me imagining things, so it is a good place to be, except that it sometimes leads to too many of those "Was Going To Do's."
I'm a bad commentator because I do read and look at every single one of your posts, and rarely say any of the things it makes me think. If you don't like the adjective "bad," we can go with "stingy."

"Busy," "overworked," "overwhelmed," "tired," or "smart enough to not waste time commenting" will all suit just fine, though.

p.s. Your usage is correct. It's "laying" and not "lying" like I wrote, unless the money I have is a living substance that just wanted to take a little siesta. How much did I pay for my English degree again?
The laying-lying thing is just a happy accident. I can never think them straight, lol!
I am doing okay. Plotting to take over the world, and counting the days until I can do so. Will have to see you soon, too, but maybe not until I'm free.
