AN OUTRAGEOUS WASTE OF TIME AND TYPE
I discovered Millie setting up camp in the yard, wisely placing all the necessities for comfortable living within reach.
Annika joined her later.
Here's my girl...
busily digging to China.
And here she is outside of a rummage sale, bracing herself for the worst.

We too went yard-saleing this weekend :) Didn't get a whole lot, but it was great fun though!!!
I haven't found wellingtons small enough for lilee's feet. I'm jealous that you've found some to fit this lttle bird!! She's a pretty one.
Ah- to yard sale. A fun treat. I am having one on June 9th. Hope there are lots of shoppers out there.
I see the verdict of her sickness now. The poisened apple.
We haven't been to many yard sales yet, actually, because the bag sales take precedence. Spending 2 dollars on as much as I can stuff in a bag is hard to beat (especially since I'm a master stuffer).
John's mom found the rubber boots (no surprise there!). I'll try to remember to ask where she got them. Susannah has a more functional pair (i.e. one hollow piece of rubber instead of velcro-sided), too, handed down from Millie. I think those came from Old Navy, but she bought them almost five years ago, so that won't help you.
