We're in the season of tea parties instead of picnics, but all seasons have their perks.
In the height of summer, Annika and I designed this picnic lunch for the girls while they played outside. She was fit to burst with excitement, and before I took this picture, she exclaimed, "Oh! They will be jumping for joy when they see me!"
They did, too, before sitting down to partake of the feast.
...and climbing up to partake of the feast.

I love your pictures of your girls...and the simple things that are SO special.
Abigail - you are one amazing mom!
Nope, I'm not!
I do look alright on the blog, though. (I should probably post all the horrible things about myself to balance the scales, huh.)
Always thankful for God's grace and mercy...
what a feast!
Last summer on Saturday evenings we ate simple meals like bread, cheese and veggies from the garden. Lots of fun. So good. But after seeing this~ I must make the meals kaleidoscope every now and again!
Right about now I don't understand how I could ever feel sick of garden tomatoes and zucchini. I have been craving them since Christmas.
